So I recently moved into a new loft about three weeks ago, I am currently still living Downtown Richmond Virginia.I must say the whole process was tedious and maybe tribute it to the fact that I haven’t made a big move in ages (though I still think moving is such a hassle). They are moments I felt defeated but I had to keep up with the process. So I thought I share a few moving tips that I practiced and I think I will be helpful to anyone that has a moving coming up or plans on moving.

Create an emergency to go box

This will be ideal for everyday essentials such as toiletries ,water bottles, night wear or an outfit for the next day or pet food if you are a pet lover. This will lessen the effort of having to reload or unpack to find items before the intended or rather planned packing day or time.

Be Proactive

Its best if you practice the act of packing way ahead before your moving date; even a box a day will save you the hassle of the last minute panic or rush.Packing ahead can produce a smooth sailing moving experience.

Label all Boxes

Labeling all boxes with what each box contains will come in handy when it’s officially time to unpack because you will be able to identify exactly what each box contains and where it belongs.

Stuff boxes containing fragile items with wrapping paper or blankets

This will provide extra cushioning for items and prevent them from breaking while also allowing you to pack more items inside the boxes

Have food and lots of water for hydration

Given the numerous task involved with a moving process, refeuling and staying hydrated is very essential during the actual moving process.Replenishing may prevent early exhaustion and help stay hydrated and if you utilizing movers they may just be thankful for the kind gesture.

Have you recently moved?what was your experience life?please comment
